Mary is a culinary expert, Canadian TV host, podcaster, writer, recipe developer, disability advocate, and speaker with a passion for food, home decor, and a good DIY. She is a self-proclaimed ice cream aficionado, eternal optimist, and a fierce problem solver.

Born in Toronto and raised in a southern-Italian home, food was at the centre of everything; an expression of love. "Food heals, unites us, and many great conversations happened and continue to be had around a kitchen table," Mary shares. As a child, she had dreams of becoming a Solid Gold Dancer, a proud Karate Kid, a Barbie clothing designer, a "Dear Abby" columnist, and an Easy Bake Oven Iron Chef.

Mary is the host of the TV show Dish with Mary now filming Season 4 on AMI-TV. A not-for-profit Canadian Network that supports and amplifies voices of Canadians with disabilities. Mary is the host and producer of the Kitchen Confession podcast and has appeared on national daytime programs such as CTV’s The Marilyn Denis Show, morning shows like Citytv’s Breakfast Television Toronto and Global’s The Morning Show, Global News as a guest culinary expert. Mary is also the host of specialty programming like AMI-tv’s Destination Dinning and A Taste Of The Prairies . She’s a seasoned radio show contributor for Kelly and Company and over the years has participated in several speaking engagements as a guest speaker and/or panellist. Mary has also partnered/collaborated with multiple brands through her recipes and her journey with vision loss.

And Dish with Mary is truly unique: while Mary is based in Toronto, the guest chefs connect with her from across Canada using the latest audio and video technology.

The lighthouse for Grieving children

The Kitchen Memory project was created to help families who have lost loved ones heal, one cherished food memory at a time. So many family memories revolve around food and gathering to eat, and my mom was at the heart of it all, making magic happen in the kitchen.

In this video I share some personal stories about lost loved ones and the powerful food memories associated with them, a recipe for the most delicious Bolognese!
